President of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation, Ita Yuliati, said that preparations for the 53rd Gymnastics World Championships are progressing rapidly, with about 60 percent already completed. She emphasized that all arrangements are being carefully coordinated and must be approved by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).

The federation is set to hold a press conference with FIG President Morinari Watanabe on either September 8 or 10, 2025. During the event, they also plan to unveil the Jakarta Gymnastics 2025 mascot.
