Official Mascot and Jingle of the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Jakarta 2025 Unveiled

The official identity of the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Jakarta 2025 (Jakarta Gymnastics 2025) has finally been launched to the public. The mascot, “Nodi”, inspired by the giant Rafflesia Arnoldii, along with the official jingle “Move to Inspire”, was introduced through the championship’s official Instagram account @JakartaGymnastics2025 on Tuesday (September 9, 2025), coinciding with the celebration of Indonesia’s 42nd National Sports Day (Haornas).
Nodi was chosen as the mascot to represent Indonesia’s unique natural heritage. Its grand form symbolizes the harmony between strength and beauty—the same values embodied in artistic gymnastics, which combines power, flexibility, and aesthetic movement.
The Rafflesia, which only blooms on rare occasions, marks the historic significance of this championship: being held for the very first time not only in Indonesia, but also in Southeast Asia. Nodi reflects the spirit of Jakarta Gymnastics 2025—not merely as a competition, but as a new milestone for Indonesia on the world sporting stage.
Meanwhile, the official jingle “Move to Inspire”, created and performed by Denda, was written with the philosophy of the spirit of movement that inspires.
Chairperson of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation, Ita Yuliati, emphasized that the mascot and jingle give Jakarta Gymnastics 2025 a distinct identity that she hopes will bring positive impact to society at large.
“We want the jingle ‘Move to Inspire’ to serve as a reminder that every gymnastics movement is not just about competition, but also about inspiration. Together with Nodi, we present an identity that is grounded and close to the Indonesian people. We want the world to feel the positive energy from Jakarta,” said Ita Yuliati.
FIG President Morinari Watanabe also welcomed the launch of the mascot and jingle, and expressed his appreciation to Indonesia. He voiced his strong belief that Indonesia will host a successful Jakarta Gymnastics 2025, which will be held at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, October 19-25.
“The global gymnastics community is truly impressed with the preparations by the organizing committee. Such meticulous preparation has never been seen in previous events—everything is nearly flawless. I thank Mrs. Ita and her team for their hard work,” said Watanabe.
“Let us show the world that Indonesia is a sporting nation,” he added.
So far, 501 athletes from 82 countries across five continents have registered for Jakarta Gymnastics 2025, including powerhouse nations such as China, Japan, and the United States. The final list of athletes and participating countries will be released at the end of September 2025 following FIG’s official verification process.
As the event approaches, ticket sales officially opened on September 5, 2025 through the website jakartagymnastics2025.id. The presence of thousands of spectators from Indonesia and abroad is expected to further elevate the atmosphere of this world-class event—the very first World Championships ever staged in Indonesia.
